Hi, I’m Rachel
I never really set out to grow flowers. Our journey began in 2011 with a copy of The Backyard Homestead and a curiosity about chickens. Before I knew it, I had a flock of hens, a couple of ducklings, and a newfound love for growing our own vegetables.
In 2019, I planted a small packet of zinnia seeds, tucked away in the corner of a kitchen garden. But those first blooms—they did something I didn’t expect. They sparked a joy I had long forgotten, calling me back to something buried beneath years of rushing. For so long, I searched for my place, exploring many paths—art, styling, a decade in maternal health, and photography. Each step felt like following the path I was supposed to take, yet something was always missing.
As I began digging my hands into the soil, I realized I was growing more than just plants. Gardening became my way to slow down and reconnect in a world that was moving too fast.
Each season, my garden grew— more flowers, more beauty, and more learning. What began as a small kitchen garden has flourished into a thriving florist-flower farm. This little farm is a true labor of love, where every row is dug by hand. Without a tractor or heavy machinery, it’s built on passion, time, and a little help from my family. This farm was born out of a need for peace and purpose. It is my way of bringing beauty into a world that sometimes feels overwhelming.
